Spread the word! Please share the calendar or website with anyone who you think might be interested in attending. The Civic Forum is free, but we hope to grow the community, and that is the most important goal. We will link to the speakers’ books and other publications so you can support them directly.

Nope! Come when you can. If you come every week, you will probably get more out of it, as the conversations will build on each other. But we know that life gets in the way sometimes.

All of the lectures will be posted to Youtube, and the audio will be available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. We will set up the podcast pages after we have recorded the first few webinars.

This is an independent civic initiative launched and funded by Rory Truex, Associate Professor of Politics and International Affairs at Princeton University. The series has no formal affiliation with Princeton and is separate from Rory’s teaching and research there.

Each session will be 45 minutes and will feature opening remarks of 10-15 minutes from the speakers, followed by a moderated conversation. The last 15 minutes will be reserved for audience questions.

Each session will be linked to a group chat on the Living in Truth Substack, where participants can interact and ask questions. During the webinar, participants may interact through the chat functions available on Crowdcast.

The plan is to do “seasons” or semesters of 10-12 speakers. We will be announcing the fall lineup soon.
